The Association of Colleges for Tutoring and Learning Assistance (ACTLA) announces a new certification for postsecondary online tutoring programs endorsed by the Council of Learning Assistance and Developmental Education Associations (CLADEA). Follow the ACTLA Online Tutoring Standards to improve your program for certification.

Online Tutoring Standards
In 2018, ACTLA embarked on a collaborative and grassroots process that included feedback and input from tutoring and learning assistance professionals, students, and staff, 3rd party online tutoring companies, CA statewide professional development organizations, and national learning assistance associations. We've developed the first online tutoring standards from the field to help structure and guide online tutoring programs within a college and university context. These online tutoring standards are to be utilized as a framework for implementing online tutoring support across our learning assistance discipline.
