Many students come to colleges and universities feeling like they need to leave their lives at the door; like their authentic selves have no place in the classroom. Come explore how peer educators can act as a “discourse bridge,” navigating the space between students’ “everyday” cultural identities and their “academic” identities, helping students feel more comfortable, safer, and more included in higher education.
